Despite accepting a salary that is far lower than what was offered at the London Stadium, Filip Kostic has decided to join Juventus this summer rather than West Ham.
According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Kostic will receive £58k per week from Juventus.
David Moyes has recruited the adaptable Maxwel Cornet to the London Stadium in response to rumors that Kostic has no interest in joining West Ham.

We genuinely believe that the Ivorian could turn out to be an even better acquisition for the Hammers because he is four years younger than the Serbian international and only cost £17.5 million.
Not that we didn’t want to see Kostic at the London Stadium, either. He is an excellent player and a superb professional.
Filip Kostic declined a significant West Ham offer.
This summer, the Hammers were willing to offer the 29-year-old player about £120,000 per week to transfer from the Bundesliga to the Premier League (Frankfurter Rundschau).
Kostic instead opted to join Juve for just £58k per week, which is a staggering £3.25 million less than what he would have made annually at West Ham.
Though it could be difficult to say…
Bravo for him.

Today’s elite football players relocate too frequently for financial gain rather than the potential to establish a lasting legacy.
It’s admirable that Kostic has openly questioned the established quo in this situation.
Maxwel Cornet was eventually acquired by West Ham when they were unable to secure Filip Kostic. Therefore, it is not as though we are lacking in the left wing-back/left wing department.
